This route in mid-valley Brembana makes a wonderful circuit of Mount Gioco the mountain overlooking San Pellegrino Terme. From the car park in Via Piazzo you ride on the cycle path passing alongside the Grand Hotel until you reach Cà de Rizzi where you leave the path in the direction Antea. Cycle, enjoying the great beauty, towards Santa Croce and Salvarizza. Above this small hamlet a road with a natural backdrop takes you into the woods where (just before Tribulina) there is a junction which marks the beginning of the circuit around Monte Gioco. Travelling through Cà Filippo to Forcella di Spettino you reach a vantage point with a view of the cross on the summit of the mountain. Descend the Asnera valley towards Corone before continuing towards Lepreno and climbing to Tribulina where this beautiful circumnavigation of the mountain ends. Descend to Salvarizza and Santa Croce where the mule track to San Pellegrino starts and brings you back to the cycle path behind the Grand Hotel.
Full suspension is recommended. The trip alternates between fast flat sections and very difficult steep sections, the bike’s suspension will be thoroughly tested. The circuit around the Mount Gioco takes place along a bike trail marked CAI 598. Whilst navigating some of difficult-to-orientate intersections follow the direction indicated by the orange markers
