How to reach the Brembana Valley by car, bus, train and plane
From Milan: take the Dalmine exit and continue towards Valle Brembana following the SS470dir.
From Brescia: take the Bergamo exit and continue towards Valle Brembana following the SS470.
The two roads meet in Villa d'Almè and from there it is necessary to continue towards Zogno. In Ambria there will be the branch for the Serina Valley (which includes the municipalities of Algua, Bracca, Serina, Costa Serina, Cornalba and Oltre il Colle) and the Selvino plateau (which includes the municipalities of Selvino and Aviatico).
Following the SS470 you will meet the municipalities of San Pellegrino Terme (from which the branch for the municipality of Dossena starts), San Giovanni Bianco, Camerata Cornello, Lenna, Moio de'Calvi (from which the branch for Roncobello starts), Isola di Fondra and Branzi.
The train stops in the city of Bergamo. Leaving the station, on the right, there is the bus station from which all buses leave for reaching the Brembana Valley and the Selvino plateau.
The nearest airport is located in Orio al Serio. A shuttle service takes you to the bus station.
All buses to reach the Brembana Valley and the Selvino plateau leave from the Bergamo bus station. Depending on the chosen destination it is necessary to take different buses.
For Selvino and Aviatico: take the bus that takes you to Bratto and get off at Albino. From there take the funicular that leads to Selvino. Once on the plateau, a circular bus is available between the two countries.
