Starting from the cable car station, our journey unfolds toward the hamlet of Ama. At the fork in the road, we turn right, taking the broad path that skirts the headland and leads us to a small chapel. As we pass through the village, we continue along a generous road, eventually reaching lower Amora. From there, we climb gently, ascending a few hundred meters until we arrive at upper Amora, where the road merges with the one coming from Aviatico.
Turning right, a gentle uphill stretch of about 2 kilometers guides us to the village of Ganda. Here, we pause, our bikes leaning against the old stone wall of a church. Ganda is a place that feels timeless, cradling visitors in its quaint, secluded charm.
The return route takes us back down to Amora Alta, retracing our way, then onward to Aviatico. At the roundabout, a left turn takes us back to Selvino. This circuit, with its old roads, serene views, and undisturbed villages, feels like a quiet ode to an earlier time—a place where modernity pauses, and life rolls at a gentle pace.
For those in search of a tranquil escape, a week here would be a gift, filled with simple pleasures, history-steeped paths, and the sort of peace that cities can only dream of.
