The church is clearly visible from the entrance to the Upper Brembana Valley, built on a rise that allows it to dominate the valley with the Dolomite Monte Messa behind it. The present church dates back to the second half of the 18th century, built on an earlier parish church from 1463. Consisting of a single nave, it is enriched with works by Carlo Ceresa and the rediscovered painting by Antonio Gandino depicting the Immaculate Conception, a work rich in symbolism. A visit is recommended, if only to enjoy the splendid panorama.
