Description

The Parish Church’s fine artistic decoration is a cultural treasure. In 1480 the church separated from the one in Lepreno and in 1740 was rebuilt in its present form over the old church. It is dedicated to the Apostle Paul and has superb décor, sculptures by Caniana and other works of art such as 3 paintings on wood that belonged to a 15th century politician and are of unknown origin. The picture of St Francis of La Verna by Carlo Ceresa is also worth seeing, as are the angels of the Fantoni school in the presbytery.
