The hamlet of Pizzino is located, as its name indicates, in an elevated position on the North-Western slope of Taleggio Valley.
At the "Corna", in the highest part of the hamlet, you can visit a group of houses clinging to a rocky end. Here stood the castle of Bellaviti family, today a private residence, but which still retains certain medieval features.
An archaeological find, kept at the Parish Church, has a carved door, in Romanesque characters, the date MX. It is a stone with a cross, perhaps a keystone, which is believed to belong to Saint Ambrogio Primitive Church, built around the year one thousand, the oldest in Taleggio Valley.
