Trafficanti, Ascensione and Ambriola form the community of Costa Serina, the third largest community in the Serina Valley. In the past these places were important for the trade route between the Seriana and Brembana Valleys, the Via Mercatorum. The name of this neighbourhood still reflects this activity; Trafficanti recalls the important trading (traffic) role of this area. Situated on the road between Serina and Selvino, two popular tourist destinations with flat paths attracting walkers of all ages. The climate is mild thanks to the mountain range (Suchello, Pizzo Forcellino, Forcella) surrounding the area, protecting it from cold winds.
