The ski station of Valtorta Piani di Bobbio is the newest in Brembana Valley. The connection with Piani di Bobbio makes this ski station one of the up modern ski Station in Lombardy. The slopes are of medium difficulty, making them ideal for beginners.
The Valtorta resort is also excellent for inter-valley skiing, with the Ceresola cross-country track. The village of Valtorta is nestled at the bottom of a lush valley, surrounded by a majestic ring of mountains, dominated by Pizzo 3 Signori. The ski resort itself is located on the slopes descending from Piani di Bobbio, a well-equipped ski resort with numerous facilities and hotels, accessible by cable car from Barzio in Valsassina.
The new lifts in Valtorta serve the slopes overlooking the Valtorta Ceresola valley and are connected to the Piani di Bobbio lifts, making this the first inter-valley ski resort in our province.
The Ski Station is composed most by intermediate slopes (red), however is pretty good indicated for novices and the experts can enjoy at the slopes called "Cedrino", "Nube Bianca" and "Tre Signori", which are usually the richest of snow and they hold out with snow across the months.
