Viale Della Vittoria
San Pellegrino Terme

An exceptional example of Art Nouveau in Europe. Inaugurated in 1907, it functioned for less than a decade as a gambling house, entertaining guests by day and especially by night with social events, concerts and prestigious shows. The game was reserved for men only, who were members of a private club, while women, if they were not in town waiting for their wealthy husbands, spent their time in the reading room, the coffee tasting room or attending concerts. In the large hall with columns of red Verona marble, it was possible to continue the treatment of water, which flowed from the nearby spring and gushed from two niches, surmounted by a beautiful stained-glass window depicting a fountain with a mythological reference, a typical reference in Art Nouveau that can also be found in the external bas-reliefs. What also makes this building unique is the decoration and furnishings, such as the chandeliers and stained-glass windows, made by a pool of well-known artists.
