The term Frasnadello, just like for the hamlet Frasnito, means 'place of the ash trees', a place where once there was probably a multitude of ash trees.
Still today in Frasnadello there is the church of the Madonna Addolorata and all around a conglomerate of houses built most of the last century, during which a bar and a grocery store were opened.
Continuing for a few minutes along a steep path just behind the houses, you can reach the panoramic viewpoint 'Le Crocette' with an altar covered by a small concrete structure depicting an eagle built by the Alpine Vincenzo Gotti.
