Description

At the beginning of the village you can see the first house on right which is the Arizzi Giuseppe notary house. This particular building is complitely covered by frescos on the facade. The Arizzi notary (1873-1960) was a very important and esteemed man who carried out his job in San Giovanni Bianco.
History tells he survived because he was away from the village at the time of the massacre of 13th of July 1914 commited by Simone Pianetti who killed several people and Arizzi was included among the victims predestined to death. Actually history tells that Simone Pianetti got to Piazzolo but the notary was saved because he had preventively commanded the servants to say that he wasn't at home to eveyone who would has knocked on door.
