This route begins by following the cycle path and takes you in a northerly direction amongst the hamlets of and Camerata Cornello. This inspiring route takes you through the tunnels of the valley’s ex-railway with their modern day lighting enchanting you as go, glimpsing the houses of the historic hamlet of Cornello dei Tasso.
Leave the cycle path at Cornello, cross the River Brembo towards Portiera and you begin to climb to the area of the old mine, on the way you’ll pass a beautiful vantage points. Follow the track for a couple of kilometres until the descent commences which is also a stretch of the a medieval-trader route which connected Bergamo with Valtellina.
Navigate the small hamlets of the village of Bosco, pass the white Church of Saint Rocco and Grumo and continue downhill until reaching the cycle path once again. This concludes the loop and takes you back to San Giovanni Bianco.
